Book 5 (24 pages)
This book introduces reading simple sentences and writing a one-word answer. Many of the words in these sentences are phonetic, and at this point the child will simply assimilate many words that are not phonetic. You are demonstrating flow and context in this book.

       
Book 6 (16 pages)
Phonogram words are introduced in this book. One group of letters is introduced on each page with six examples of words using the phonogram.

       
Book 7 (16 pages)
Phonogram words are repeated and are selected for use in simple sentences.

       
Book 8 (15 pages)
Images from the classroom and the general environment are labeled by the child from a list on each page: toys, tools, animals, plants, musical instruments, etc.
